It was bone-chillingly cold night under a gazebo by the lake ... mind-alteringly cold which hurt the turnout naturally, but made it sort of an out-of-body experience for those who were there .... spectators included random passers-by, families huddled under blankets, and apparently even the mayor of Austin. Thanks to Austin's Church of the Friendly Ghost and Aaron Mace for the invite. We'll be back in a-town on Feb. 6 at Trailer Space Records with ST 37, Future Blondes, and Book of Shadows. Very impressed with Cornelius f. Van Stafrin III, a bearded fellow in a Jedi robe who opened the night with a effective organic drone that included a harmonium, tibetan bowls and other odd playthings...
